i am sitting at home, waiting to be picked up for the thrill ride of my life.
i am listening to Tiny Birds by Yo la tengo and I am happier than i have ever been.
Today i leave for my first real tour. almost 3 weeks, mates of state, da hawnay troof, rogue wave.
it is hard to believe. i've been waiting for this for so long.

hello and welcome to 2004!
this is going to be one of the best years of my life i can feel it.
touring with mates of state in february. new position at levi's that i love.
my sister is in love and getting married. my parents love their life at the house they built in rockford, AL. i love my band. we are a family like nothing i have ever felt. there is talk of a schrasj greatest hits record to be released in japan. terri and jason are PREGNANT!!! and due in april. the first schrasj kid! and so much good much good california music to hear. cass mccombs, kelley stoltz, deerhoof, our lady of the highway. and rogue wave, of course.
rogue wave opened for the suicide girls at the great american music hall and we killed. it was an amazing nite that i will never forget. some classy ladies all around.
even if they do smoke too much.
i am happier than i have ever been. and it is only up from here. i remain decidely single. and thats OK too.
reading is also good. a million little pieces by james frey, kitchen sink mag, and vice mag too!
